Now, I've been a makeup artist for some time now. I'd like to think of myself as retired, per say, but not completely out of the loop. Turns out I am! I was recently given a bare minerals [starter kit] for "pale-light-ghost-skin" and I must say. Good gosh! I'm glad I got out of the makeup industry when I did- it turns out something would come along that would revolutionize makeup as we know it. Just kidding, I know makeup artistry is an important skill that will never actually become obsolete- but everyday makeup has definitely changed for the better. Experiences, anyone? Who uses this Bare Minerals stuff and who is as happy with it as I have been these last 48 hours?
On another weird note, I have a consultation with a plastic surgeon today. More later, but I promise, it's not what you think.

I LOVE it. The eyeshadows are just so perfect, and the best thing is that I don't wear makeup often...and these will never go bad! (they are just rocks, after all!) Quite the deal..
I've used it for over a year now and can hardly remember my life before Bare Minerals. Until I see photos of my old makeup and I shudder in disgust. ;) One of the brilliant things about Bare Minerals is that everything can be used either dry or wet. I love using the eyeshadows wet (ie "foiled"), the colors become so vibrant and strong!
I LOVE IT! more reviews people! this is important!
hearing only good things....
actually, i tried the foundation and i didn't like it at all:( first, it's damned expensice (in norway, anyways), and i find it's "sticky", sort of. it feels like i'm wearing a mask, if you get the picture. i'm not a big fan of foundations, the only one i've liked for the past few years it maxfactor's miracle touch foundation..
I started my mineral makeup journey with BM but moved on to more quality mineral makeup, BM makes my skin itchs, I'm currently using foundation from Meow Cosmetics, the coverage is far superior and it doesnt make me itch, plus there is a formula and coverage for nearly every possible skin type and tone.
girl, i've been wearing bare minerals for over five years now! i love it. it's nice to my sensitive (and ruddy irish) skin.
