There is nothing sweeter to me than lounging around in my lingerie during the summer. It's so hot- and the only thing redeeming about the desert that is our little candy cane cottage right now- is the incredibly cool air coming from our wall unit conditioner. I've been going through etsy and and there is so much cute stuff available for my lounging pleasures right now. Plus, if you're like me- sleeping in the heat is next to impossible. A skimpy slip that just came out of the freezer is one of my favorite things on summer nights. ooh la la!

Hey Sailor!

This spring, a large inspiration for me has been nautical goodies. Nautical used to mean "preppy"- kids only dressed in navy stripes if they had a yacht to play on all summer. But I think that these seaman inspired pieces should be anchors in every girls closet.

Something i'm looking forward to this spring is dresses and although a great pair of flats makes an excellent accent to a lacy little sun dress, another option waiting in the wings is a cute little pair of victorian boots. So granny chic! Andie Walsh wore them in Pretty in Pink and in my opinion, they never really went out of style. They have an excellent selection on, you guessed it, Etsy! So pick up a pair... and flaunt your lace-up throw backs with your head held high. Oh, and throw in a frilly parasol for effect.
